Thai Parboiled Rice
Produced from ordinary Thai white rice paddy through the process of parboiling (boiled for a short time until it is partly cooked), parboiled rice has a clear, light-yellow colour, and is puffy and easy-to-eat when cooked. It is especially popular in the Middle Eastern and African markets.
